Does the building have a name?

Well, no, not really. Although, the region that the building is in is called "Proclia". So, I guess that's why some dwellers like to call this place "Mini Proclia".

Some trivia:
The name "Proclia" comes from one of the old titles for Steel House in the Prairie. I still liked the term "Proclian tech" though, so I decided to use it in this way. That's it, really.

Fruits and vegetables

Here's the list of the kinds of fruits and vegetables that's provided and where they come from.

Fruits + Vegetables
(All the fruits and vegetables in the building are planted in the gardens.)
  • Most common native Imesian fruits and vegetables.
  • Most common native Stawdish fruits and vegetables.
  • Most common native Anrakid fruits and vegetables.
  • Most common evolved Earthean fruits and vegetables.

"Maroon" chips

The maroon-coloured chip drive, when inserted into a robot, gives the ability to feel sex-related sensations. Its use is temporary and will require recharging after a maximum of an hour. It was built by Sarlife with the codes based off Yuo's, who was once a sexual services android.

Replacement Body Parts for Robots

There are a number of storage rooms spread throughout the building that contains replacement body parts for robots.
The body parts can be manually collected, but there are also semi-sentient robots that keep to the area and make deliveries through chutes.

Internet and the web

So there's this building-wide web that's been built that's been made specifically for the building's inhabitants. Y'know, just for secrecy's sake. Also, it's still possible to browse the web outside of the building's, but it's incognito. Also for secrecy's sake. All this stuff was built by Tekka.

Pain Chips

The pain chip is a physical device that's inserted in a robot to simulate feelings of pain when a certain area of a robot's body is interacted with in a way that would usually inflict pain on an organic life form. Unlike effect chips, like FGCs, its use is not temporary and will only stop being effective once removed. It was built by Sarlife.

"Feel-Good" Chips (FGCs)

Feel-good chips (FGCs) are an effect chip that is the equivalent to alcoholic beverages for robots. It works very much like a relaxant. Its use is temporary and will usually stop its effects once it runs out of energy or when it's removed from the robot's system. They were built by Sarlife.

The Music Rooms

A collection of rooms where all the musical instruments are stored and music is recorded. The instruments are usually either donated from original holders or scavenged from dumps. So that there's plenty, some of the instruments are cloned, as well.

The MIDI bots live in rooms close by here and sometimes play live in the recording studio to broadcast across the building. People who aren't MIDI bots are also free to broadcast their own music if they want, too.

About anyone, machine and organism alike, are allowed to casually spend their time here, too. The walls are totally soundproof, so they can play music at any time of the day, as loud and for as long as they want.

Robot Dream Viewer

A device built by Sarlife where you can view the images that come up in a robot's head while they're charging. Basically you can view a robot's dreams when you plug a audio-visual headset into a robot. Yeah, robots can dream in this universe.

The population

*NOTE: The only items in this list are featured in the scripts to date*

Service Androids/Robots
Ranges from robots of different brands and decades. Usually built after the form of a human or a turerie. Found around the building providing services of all sorts for people, as well as maintaining the building itself.

Casual/Misc. Androids/Robots
Not very easy to come across, but spread out across the building, often living close by to the race they were built after. Usually helps around and makes friends and other casual things.

Human
Four-limbed bipedal beings with inconsistent patterns of hair. Also not common to meet one in the building. Usually found in the middle floors near the balconies.

Uvra
Four-armed centaur-like beings native to planet Stawdos. There are not many of them in the building. Lives on the upper floors beneath the fruits and vegetables of their main diet.

Sennajay
Small [>>Appearance desc.<<] from s planet from a nearby star system. Handles electricity the best so they yend to live in flats near the power rooms.

Stolluk
A race of creatures that originated from an abandoned science experiment. They are four-legged, two-armed beings with mostly heart-shaped heads. Lacks joints in their limbs and works with only 3 fingers per hand. Find them mostly near the roof or north-facing balconies throughout the building.

April's pouch of ursémoma

"Homemade candy from your friend, Kourd. A favourite treat for sennajays, but for humans: probably not."

  • April received this as a gift of gratitude when returning some of Kourd's community back to them after they gone missing
  • Ursémoma is described to have a similar effect to Earthean popping candy, but instead has a more electrocuting sensation

April's shank

Description: “Short, sharp, and shiny. It’s small enough that it fits right in your pocket, and it's as sharp as about a thousand paper cuts. How convenient!”

  • April made this shank when browsing through the trash Pillia collected
  • It is made out of a sharp metal piece and an old doorknob, bound together with some duct tape.

Niatheia City

The capital city of Kreluel, with a population a bit too large for its capacity.

April’s Room

The place where April likes to spend her time the most. Set in a small apartment building in Niatheia city.

Main Features:
  • Disorganised/cluttered desk (PC,  textbooks, holographic texbooks, stationery, etc.)
  • Unmade bed (jacket, wallet, history books)
  • Cupboard
  • Other clutter (more books, arnis sticks, etc.)

The gardens of the building

There are about three major garden locations in the building. Each garden centre provides plants for each of these uses: food, medicines, nonfood products, aesthetic uses, and research.

There are usually one to two robots active per garden, every day. They spend about 9 hours of their day consistently harvesting and tending to the gardens, and 2 hours delivering the produce each morning and evening.

There are also volunteers and clubs that help participate to tending the gardens, too.

Rooftop Gardens - Floor 15
The largest garden centre in the building. It takes advantage of its large balconies that sit under star Piaros' natural light.

Northern Greenhouse - Floor 7
The smallest garden centre of the building. Set along the largest North-facing balcony on the 7th floor.

Ground Gardens - Floor 2
The second-largest garden centre of the building that stretches almost around the entire perimeter of the building from the Eastern walls, to the Northern walls, all the way to the Western walls.

Some history on the building's railways

Because the collection of robots is a slow process, throughout the few years that the building has been active, the railway system had been short on driver bots for a while. This caused there to be people and even other robots that had no knowledge on driving to learn to work the trains. This situation obviously eased over time.

The railway system

The building is so massive that there are railway systems inside.

On about every floor, there is usually a total of four drivers and there are two active drivers per floor. Therefore, there are two trains per floor. This is so the waiting interval between train arrival times isn't too long. The wait is usually about 10 minutes.

Since there are fifteen floors in the entire building, there are a total of 30 trains and it is recommended for there to be about 60 driver bots in total. (Wow!) This is quite much considering the lack of actual population inside the building. Often, the trains are empty and usually carry a maximum of about three groups, unless otherwise.

Most driver bots usually stick to spending 12 hours per day driving, making there two active from say, 00:00 to 11:59 and another two active from 12:00 to 23:59. All the driver bots are naturally organised and are big communicators, so things usually run smoothly.

Trade

In the building, there isn't any currency system, and since robots do a good majority of the work there, barely any of the organic life do much service work, too.
When it comes to paying people back for favours and stuff related, I kinda think of it how it would be for siblings that are still living under their parent(s)'s work (from experience). You know, the whole "I do this for you, you do something worth that amount for me back," or some "I got you this, you get me that," sort of negotiation.

Lodgings Vs the Population

Despite the number of lodgings there are that've been built inside the building, there isn't really that many people that live inside (excluding the service androids). A good fraction of those lodgings are empty. I have no idea about the specifics at the moment.

Why Proclo's building hasn't been discovered

Heads up for a lot of dumb reasons lol XD

  • The inhabitants of the building's made discoveries and inventions and whatnot that haven't been discovered by the outside world, so tech and stuff that's helping the building hide itself from the public eye is a thing that exists.
  • Tech, for example, something like some invisibility layer that can be switched on and off or whatever, and there's enough of it that it covers the surface area of the building (which is pretty goddamn huge)
  • Only problem is that people and objects cannot walk through it
  • Also, the building is pretty close to the sea than most life is (you know how people are on Imest)
  • The "life near the sea" aspect of Proclo's building's gonna be discussed in another post...)
